Gareth conducted clinics to helped better understand English riding and its manuevers and then to showed us how to get more out of our halter classes - say, a trophy!

Raffle Supreme

The 2008 Raffle Supreme featured an 8x18x9 shelter donated by D. Buck Contruction LLC of Manitowoc, Wisconsin.  Raffle tickets were 5 for $5 and went on sale as of March 7th. *Please note that the winner was responsible for a one-way delivery fee of $1.50 per mile.

Equine Excellense with Derrick Dupler and Princess Rhia

Six years ago Derrick met Princess Rhia and it was love at first sight.  She is a beautiful big, black Morgan mare and Derrick - well, he's not bad looking either.  Together they travel the United States to perform trick shows and driving demonstrations to the delight of all ages.  Derrick and Princess Rhia performed to our delight at Horse-A-Rama.  Princess Rhia also welcomed any chance to have her photo taken with you.

Free Pony Rides

Kids rode free both Saturday and Sunday on ponies provided by Bublitz Pony Rides.  Some kids got so attached that you just about had to pry them off the ponies.  Next year, make sure that your child doesn't miss his or her turn!

Silent Auction

Donald Driver of the Green Bay Packers autographs a football, which will be featured on the Horse-A-Rama Silent Auction.  This favorite attraction runs both Saturday and Sunday - each day featuring a new auction and new items, donated by our generous vendors and Manitowoc County merchants, business owners, and friends of Horse-A-Rama.  Be sure to stop by and see what is up for bid!

Some of the items:  Brewer's Baseball Collector Bobbleheads, 12'x12' interlocking stall mats, Painted Ponies, cookware, bakeware, Donald Driver autographed football

Breed Demonstrations

Our featured breeds included Foxtrotter, Fjord, Saddlebred, Arabian, Peruvian Paso, Appaloosa, and Quarter Horse.  

Free Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides

The free wagon rides, provided by Ron-Mar Farms, ran both Saturday and Sunday for everyones enjoyment.  A lot of people hopped on to get around the Manitowoc County Expo Center faster.
